Connor Amundson is a creative designer with a specialty in advanced computational design with a wide range of applications. He studied architecture at the world-renowned Illinois Institute of Technology in (Chicago, IL), receiving Institutional merit and graduating with academic honors. While receiving his undergraduate, Connor collaborated with numerous companies and well-known designers including IKEA and Wiel Arets. Further finding a passion for sustainability through computer-generated modeling, taking classes in both coding languages and AI topic areas.
Along with his studies, Connor has worked on multiple publications including a series with Design Boom and Flux Architecture based in (Munich, Germany). Receiving Design Awards from the Institute of Design at the Kaplan Institute, IIT School of Architecture, and Armour College of Engineering for topics in innovation, sustainability, and exceptional design in user interfaces.
When he isn’t glued to his computer screen, he enjoys being immersed in nature and spending time with friends and family. A long-time animal person, he especially enjoys spending time on adventures with his dog and being more involved in the community, including being a volunteer for organizations like PAWS Chicago. Even going as far as designing a dog house for his favorite furry friend.
